Academy History

The Academy was founded in 1995 after years of prayer and planning by the pastors and congregation of South Valley Community Church. It was the church's vision to provide a Christ-centered, non-profit private elementary school in the Gilroy area. God opened doors for the opportunity to lease school property a few blocks from our church home. PWCA is now in it's 16th year and serves 300+ Preschool through 8th grade students. The most recent addition includes a state-of-the-art Preschool.

Pacific West Christian Academy is located at 1575A Mantelli Drive, on the West side of Gilroy, near Santa Teresa Blvd, 25 miles south of San Jose, California. Please park on Calle del Rey and walk through the iron gate on Calle del Rey.

Pacific West Christian Academy also operates preschool and junior high at our Kelton Drive Campus.  That campus is located at 8095 Kelton Drive, Gilroy at South Valley Community Church.
